Treatment and Recycling Plant Operative
Job description
As a rapidly expanding business we are seeking a highly motivated individual who is receptive to NVQ training and a keen mind to learn and adapt with our very unique operation. The right individual will have the opportunity to grow with our business development plans and further opportunities with extended education in this field.
Working as part of a small team within a specialist treatment and recycling facility, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to drive forklifts and tele-handlers safely to process materials and outputs (training will be provided, if required). Other tasks within your role may entail sorting materials, de-packaging, helping to unload vehicles and making use of the plant, equipment and any other related projects while maintaining good housekeeping at all times.
Working Hours and Pay
As part of the team you will be required to work on a rota-shift system, alternating between nights (10pm – 6am), early shift (6am – 2pm) and afternoons (2pm – 10pm).
Pay rates are £11.00 per hour for early and afternoon shift and £14.67 per hour for the night shift.
Additional overtime is often available on Saturdays at a rate of £16.50 per hour and Sundays at a rate of £22.00 per hour.
We also run a bonus scheme whereby if certain production targets are met an annual bonus of £5,000 is granted.
