Natural UK has just been awarded the contract for the provision of clinical waste collections from domestic households in the Hywel Dda University Health Board region.
The Health Board was established on 1 October 2009 from the merger of the Hywel Dda NHS Trust, the Pembrokeshire Local Health Board, Ceredigion Local Health Board and Carmarthenshire Local Health Board and provides healthcare services to a total population of around 372,320 throughout Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
Natural UK will now provide regular and scheduled services to collect EWC 18-01-03 Hazardous / Infectious Clinical Waste (Orange Bags) that include Infectious or potentially infectious soft clinical waste materials contaminated with blood / bodily fluids, including:
Hazardous or Infectious wastes
– Orange Clinical Waste Bags for Hazardous or Infectious wastes
- Swabs and Dressings
- Wipes / Gloves
- Aprons & Masks
- Empty Blood Bags
